The Thanksgiving season is a perfect reminder to appreciate the good things and good people in our lives: a tasty meal, a cozy bed, a kind gesture from someone, or enjoying time with a friend. Reflecting on what we are grateful for can help us feel happier and more content.
Recently, I started a simple bedtime tradition with my oldest son. After he’s tucked into bed, I start by sharing something that I’m thankful for from the day, then he does the same. We take turns until we’ve each named three things. Here are some Thanksgiving books for kids that can support your gratitude practice during the holiday season and throughout the year.
